Luxury ‘next level’ apartment delivers sky-high sparkle

This Brisbane property conveys that Gold Coast penthouse feel, with all the bells and whistles. The investor and builder on this project started from scratch. With all the apartments in this building selling for more than $1 million, they needed to go ‘next level’ with the top two floors.

We worked on both the penthouse that sold for $3.3 million, that came with its own rooftop bar and entertainment area, and the double-sided apartment, one level down, yet still giving you that penthouse feel.

When it came to sell my house time, or in this case apartments, the goal was the right sale price.

The investor arranged for imported Italian floor tiles, top-notch materials for all rooms and custom cabinets for the kitchen and walk-in robe in the master bedroom. This Gold Coast-based builder knocked out the dividing wall and made two apartments one big luxury home.

Team Swift came in near the end of the project to complete a builder’s clean and then a pre-sale clean to ensure the property sparkled for open home day. This made the stylist very happy. If you are going to invest in home staging then a pre-sale clean is required. These two go hand in hand – you can’t have one without the other.

In our 2017 survey, we asked 1,000 buyers what was important to them. They said while styling the home was great, it was only item six on their priority list. If you don’t clean the home, then house staging won’t have a major impact on their decision-making process. The furniture doesn’t come with the home but paints a picture of what could be. What appeals to the buyer most is a clean and tidy home, so invest your money wisely when selling a house.
