Sometimes when you decide “I need to sell my house”, you just have to renovate. This buyer bought a bargain in the best street in a great neighbourhood. He now rents the home to executives who travel to Brisbane for work.

While Team Swift prefers to work with homeowners selling a house and know just how to sell your house, we will work with buyers too. After all, we know what buyers are looking for and we understand an investor’s mindset. Where an emotional buyer will pass on an opportunity because the home needs too much work, investors will drive down the sale price so they have more money for the renovation.

A home that is rundown and hasn’t been maintained over the years will find a buyer. You just need to be happy with a buyer who doesn’t want to pay top dollar because the home needs a lot of work before it is liveable.

If a buyer wants to buy a project to renovate then we can help. While Team Swift doesn’t actually do any renovating, we are more than happy to tidy up after the builder, do home staging, maintenance or other steps to get the home to a move-in state.

This investment consisted of two levels giving two separate homes. Each room has its own bathroom. This meant two kitchens, two living areas and two outdoor areas, six bedrooms and six bathrooms – all new and great for people needing somewhere to live while working away.

Sometimes cheap is not the best option, after another cleaning company had already been through the home three times to remove builder’s dust from the removal of an internal stairwell. The investor was very happy to see Team Swift. After a quick education on where the dust was hiding and the best time to clean, they quickly agreed to a premium rate to get a quick result.
