What’s the good of having a well-styled home when the house is not cleaned to a professional standard?

When walking into an open home, regardless of whether it was home staged or not, if the home was dirty, it sparked the question: ‘if the seller didn’t bother to clean it, what else did they not bother to do?’

A dirty home turns an emotional buyer into a bargain hunter. If they connect and want to make an offer, they will want to drop the price as much as possible. However, 80% of emotional buyers won’t even make an offer! You are missing out on offers if you skip the cleaning part of the process. Staging a house for sale means getting the cleaning done first.

Pre-Sale Clean vs Bond Clean

If you have been in the real estate industry for more than five minutes you know what a bond clean is. However, you need to forget what you know about bond cleaning, this is not a detailed enough clean to make a home sparkle like a showroom, it is simply enough to return a renter’s bond.

A pre-sale clean, is next level. We understand that in the market today, buyers are looking at your pre-loved home and at new never-lived-in homes. Buyers are asking why they should buy a home that has already been lived in? Location, that is it. If you want top dollar for your pre-loved home, you need to make it look like new again or as near new as possible and that means a detailed clean is needed.
